Our Phonics Levels Our phonics program includes three structured levels that guide children from first sounds to fluent writing.
Each level runs for 16 to 32 weeks (4 to 8 months), depending on each child’s learning speed.
Level 1 – FOUNDATION
Duration: 16–32 Weeks
Children begin their phonics journey by learning 42 letter sounds, blending, and segmenting.They read with Word Bank Books, Jolly Readers, and interactive worksheets designed for fun learning.
- Outcome: Early reading skills, blending, and sound recognition.
Level 2 – FLUENCY
Duration: 16–32 Weeks
Duration: 16–32 Weeks
Children learn alternative spellings and improve reading fluency through decodable Jolly Readers and story-based practice. This stage enhances confidence, comprehension, and pronunciation.
- Outcome: Fluent reading and word-building confidence.
Level 3 – MASTERY
Duration: 16–32 Weeks
This level focuses on spelling patterns, tricky words, and grammar. Children learn to form complete sentences and short paragraphs independently.
- Outcome: Spelling mastery, sentence writing, and creative expression.
Optional Level 4 – GRAMMAR (Advanced)
Covers grammar rules, punctuation, tenses, and paragraph writing for advanced learners.
